57 Things to do in New York City

The Big Apple. The city that never sleeps. New York City is a city full of mysteries. This is one of the reasons why New York is one of my favorite cities – alongside with Paris – but I have only been there for a couple of days at a time… Therefore I have not done all the things I want to do in New York. I usually just visit the most popular must-sees in the city, but now I want to take a trip to New York that lasts longer than just a couple of days. Advice: A couple of days in New York is NOT enough!

Here are 57 things you can do if you are going to New York:

1. Eat cookie dough like it is ice cream at Cookie DŌ

2. Design your own lipstick in Bite Beauty Lip Lap

3. Visit Central Perk from Friends

4. Enjoy the view from the top of the Empire State Building

5. Get delicious desserts and cakes

6. Observe the busy lives of New Yorkers at Times Square

7. Take a ride in a bicycle taxi

8. Go shopping at Tiffany & CO.

9. Eat chinese food out of a China box

10. Visit the places where Gossip Girl took place

12. Visit the chocolate factory

13. Walk across Brooklyn Bridge

14. Be a part of the audience at one of the live shows – The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

15. Go on the ferry between Manhattan and Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty up close

16. Visit Chinatown

17. Go to Brooklyn to get the best view of the New York skyline

18. Go shopping on 5th Avenue and Broadway

19. Get decorated cupcakes at one of many bakeries

43. Spend a night at The Plaza Hotel (where +25 movies were filmed!)
